Suchmaschine für Audio-Clips

Ohne es an die große Glocke zu hängen, experimentiert Compaqs Forschungsabteilung mit einer Suchmaschine, die Sprache erkennt und transkribiert.

In einer ersten Phase des Projekts "Speechbot" werden täglich 20 US-Radiotalkshows [bis dato 2.500 Stunden] vollständig in Text verwandelt, nach Stichworten indiziert und damit durchsuchbar gemacht.

Stichwort "desert storm"

So sehen dreißig Sekunden aus der "Jeff Rense Show" aus, in denen die Phrase "desert storm" enthalten ist:
